Privacy Policy

This policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect and how we protect it — across our website (timelesstechlearning.com) and our two apps, ADAPT (the learning app) and Eli (your AI technology guide). We built these apps for adults 55 and older, and we take your privacy seriously.

1. Information We Collect

On our website, when you contact us or join the waitlist, we collect:

• Your name and email address
• Your city or location, if you share it
• Any message or inquiry you submit
• Basic, anonymous website analytics (pages visited, browser type)

In the ADAPT and Eli apps, we may collect:

• Account information — the email address you use to create your account.
• Learning and usage data — your progress through lessons, the levels you complete, Confidence Points, streaks, and how you use the app. This helps us personalize your learning and improve the apps.
• Messages and questions you send to Eli — the text, and if you use voice, the recording of what you ask, so Eli can answer you.
• Photos or images you choose to share — for example, when you use Scam Radar to check whether a text or email is a scam, or send Eli a screenshot of something on your screen.
• Notification tokens — a device identifier used only to send the push notifications you have allowed (such as lesson reminders).

2. Microphone, Camera & Photos

The apps only use your microphone, camera, or photo library when you choose a feature that needs them — and your device will always ask your permission first:

• Microphone — only when you tap to speak to Eli, so you can ask questions out loud instead of typing.
• Camera / Photos — only when you take or pick a picture to check with Scam Radar or share with Eli.

You can turn any of these off at any time in your phone's Settings, and the rest of the app will keep working.

3. How AI Processing Works

Eli, and some help features inside ADAPT, are powered by artificial intelligence. To answer you, the message you send — your typed text, your voice recording, or the image you share — is sent securely to a trusted third-party AI provider that generates the response. We do not use your private conversations or images to advertise to you, and we do not sell them. We share only what is needed to answer your question, and only at the moment you ask.

4. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account
• To deliver lessons, save your progress, and personalize your learning
• To let Eli and Scam Radar answer your questions
• To send the notifications and updates you have agreed to receive
• To respond to your questions and provide support
• To keep the apps safe, fix problems, and improve how they work

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

5. Who We Share Data With

We work with a small number of trusted service providers to run the apps. We share only what each one needs to do its job:

• Supabase — securely stores your account, your learning progress, and app data on our behalf.
• Apple — provides the App Store and processes any in-app purchase or subscription. We never see or store your full payment card details; Apple handles all billing.
• Our AI provider — receives the message, voice, or image you send to Eli or Scam Radar in order to generate a reply, as described in Section 3.

6. In-App Purchases

If you join the TTL Membership, your purchase is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Apple shares with us confirmation that you subscribed (so we can unlock your access), but not your card number or billing details. See our Terms of Service for subscription, auto-renewal, and refund details.

7. How Long We Keep Your Data

We keep your account and learning data for as long as your account is active, so your progress is there when you return. Scam-check photos default to your private history and are automatically deleted after 90 days. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to keep certain records.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including encryption in transit and trusted, access-controlled storage. No method of transmission over the internet is ever 100% secure, but we work hard to keep your data safe.

9. Your Rights & How to Delete Your Data

You can:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct or delete your information
• Delete your account at any time — in the app, open your account settings and choose Delete Account
• Opt out of marketing emails at any time

You can also request deletion by emailing support@timelesstechlearning.com — just tell us the email on your account and we will take care of it.

10. Children's Privacy

Our services are designed for adults 55 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
