Do I need any tech experience to attend?
Absolutely not. Our workshops are designed for complete beginners. If you can hold a phone, you're ready. We start from the very beginning and go at whatever pace works for you.
What should I bring?
Just bring your device — whatever you normally use. iPhone, Android phone, laptop, or tablet. We'll work with exactly what you have. No need to buy anything new.
Can I attend online if I'm not in Albany?
Yes. Every session will be available online via Zoom — same instructor, same content, same small group environment. You'll just need a device and an internet connection.
What if I fall behind during the session?
Our instructors move at the group's pace. If you need something repeated or explained differently, just ask. There are no dumb questions, and no one is left behind.
Are workshops really free?
Yes — completely free. Our workshops are community-supported through the TTL Community Learning Foundation. The goal is access, not profit.
How many people are in each session?
We cap sessions at 12 participants to ensure everyone gets personal attention. Small groups mean your questions actually get answered — not rushed past.
What topics do you cover?

I'm not in Albany. Can TTL come to my community?
We're expanding. If you represent a senior center, library, church, or community organization, reach out — we actively partner with organizations to bring workshops to new locations.
